'힙합계의 총아' 드렁큰타이거(타이거JK)가 CF계에서도 총아로 떠오르고 있다.

드렁큰타이거는 최근 한 자동차 CF를 촬영했다. 드렁큰타이거의 최근 인기를 쉽게 엿볼 수 있는 셈이다. 이 뿐아니다. 드렁큰타이거는 현재 수많은 CF로부터 러브콜을 받고 있으며 몇몇은 계약 단계에 이르고 있다. 한 관계자는 "드렁큰타이거에 대한 CF 업계의 제의가 봇물처럼 밀려들고 있다"고 전했다.

CF는 물론 패션계에서도 드렁큰타이거 모시기는 계속되고 있다. 드렁큰타이거는 최근 다수의 유명 패션지와 화보 촬영을 마치기도 했다.

드렁큰타이거 측은 "힙합 뮤지션인데도 불구, 패션화보와 CF에서 계속 출연 제의를 해오고 있다"며 "음악에 매진하면서 출연 여부를 결정하고 있다"고 말했다.

한편 6월29일 발매된 드렁큰타이거는 8집 앨범은 힙합앨범으론 드물게 10만장 판매 돌파도 엿보고 있다. 관계자는 "지금까지 7만5천장이 팔렸다. 현재 찍고 있는 앨범을 포함하면 총 9만장정도 된다"며 "10만장 돌파가 현실로 다가오고 있다"고 밝혔다.
