美 힙합 전설 라킴, 드렁큰 타이거 8집 앨범 참여

국내 힙합계의 거장 드렁큰 타이거의 앨범에 미국 힙합의 전설 라킴(Rakim)이 참여한다.

드렁큰 타이거는 오는 29일, 2년여의 작업기간 끝에 8집 앨범을 발매한다. 드렁큰 타이거 소속사는 트랙리스트에 이어 8집 앨범 참여 아티스트들을 공개했으며, 이 아트스트 중에는 국내 힙합 마니아들의 폭 넓은 지지를 받고 있는 라킴 또한 포함돼 있다.

라킴은 힙합의 본고장인 미국에서 '라임의 신', '올드스쿨의 대가'로 불리며, 투팍(2pac)과 함께 미국 힙합의 양대 산맥으로 불리는 뮤지션이다. 라킴은 드렁큰 타이거 앨범에 들어갈 랩 가사를 쓰기 위해 한국에 대한 정보를 수집하고 공부했으며, 랩 가사에 특별히 '훈민정음을 창제한 세종대왕' 등의 내용을 언급하고 직접 한국어로 이를 녹음해 드렁큰타이거에게 보내왔다는 후문이다.

이번 앨범에는 라킴 외에도 미국 힙합의 실력파 그룹인 '딜라티드 피플(Dilated People)'의 멤버 Rakka와 Stylistic Jones, Sef Cobane, 드렁큰타이거의 원년멤버로 미국에서 활동 중인 Roscoe Umali 와 일본 힙합의 대표주자인 Zeebra 등이 참여했다.

이 외에도 드렁큰 타이거의 든든한 동료인 다이나믹 듀오, t윤미래, 양동근(YDG), 더블K, 도끼 등이 참여했으며, 드렁큰 타이거와 한솥밥을 먹는 Bizzy, Palo Alto, 언더그라운드 힙합 신의 실력자들로 각광받고 있는 The Quiett, Loptimist, 화나, 1kyne 등도 참여했다.
